MF Union Ball Valve

Yunnl MF union ball valve is a serviceable ball valve with a male-female union joint on one end. The "MF" stands for Male-Female - the union nut connects a male thread on the valve body to a female thread on the pipe adapter.

Available in two body configurations:

Both variants share the same forged brass body, PTFE seats, nickel-plated finish, and PN16 rating.

Selection Rule of Thumb

• Choose Straight-Through - For straight pipe runs where the pipe continues in the same direction
• Choose Angle-Type - For pipe turns, tight cabinets, boiler connections, or where space is limited

• The Union Components

• Disconnection (For Maintenance)

1. Close the valve - Lever perpendicular to pipe
2. Loosen the union nut - One wrench, one operation
3. Separate - The valve body pulls away from the pipe adapter
4. Service - Clean, replace seats, replace O-ring, or replace the entire valve
5. Reconnect - Push back together, tighten the union nut

• Installation Steps

1. Apply PTFE tape - 3-5 turns clockwise on the pipe male thread
2. Thread the adapter - Screw the pipe adapter onto the pipe
3. Check the O-ring - Ensure the union O-ring is in place
4. Insert the valve - Push the valve body into the adapter
5. Tighten the union nut - Hand-tighten, then 1/4-1/2 turn with a wrench
6. Connect the other end - Thread the valve onto the other pipe
7. Test - Pressurize and check for leakage
