Types of Brass Ball Valve

Features of Brass Ball Valve
Brass, as the primary material for the valve body, combines the corrosion resistance of copper with the strength benefits of zinc, making it suitable for neutral media environments such as water, oil, and gas.
The built-in stainless steel filter screen (commonly made of 304/316 stainless steel) employs a precisely engineered aperture design (e.G., 40-100 mesh) to trap particulate impurities while maintaining low flow resistance.
The valve body is formed using a forging process, resulting in a smooth internal flow passage without any dead zones, thereby minimizing media deposition. The y-shaped or t-shaped structure optimizes the fluid passage path, reducing pressure loss (or translation loss, as you May refer to it in a hydraulic context, though typically it's "pressure loss" in fluid dynamics), making it suitable for high-flow-rate scenarios.
The filter screen's aperture can be customized according to the characteristics of the medium (e.G., 50μm for precision filtration, 1mm for coarse filtration). It is paired with a blowdown valve to facilitate regular cleaning.
