The upper section features precision male external thread for firm pipe connection. The knurled anti-slip middle ring supports convenient manual assembly and disassembly. • Connection

1. Match thread specification: This coupling comes with male external thread, compatible with G1/2, NPT1/2 or G3/4. Select the proper thread variant to fit your pipe or equipment port.
2. Screw onto port: Hand-tighten the male-thread end of the quick-connect coupling onto your pipe, pump or sprinkler port. Do not over-torque to avoid brass thread damage.
3. Lock mating fitting: Push the matching plug/hose nipple into the claw-grip quick-connect end until you hear or feel a firm click.
4. Verify locking: Gently pull the connected hose/nipple to confirm secure locking before turning on water supply.

• Disconnection

1. Actuate release collar: Push back the knurled release collar toward the coupling main body.
2. Remove fitting: Keep the collar depressed, then pull the hose/plug straight out.
3. Remove coupling (if required): Unscrew the male-thread end from the equipment port.

• Important Operating Notes

1. Full insertion required: Push the mating plug fully home until it reaches the stop position. Partial insertion will result in leakage.
2. Keep sealing surfaces clean: Keep claw-grip components and FKM sealing ring free of sand, grit and debris. Contamination will accelerate seal wear and cause leaks.
3. Regular seal inspection: Routinely inspect the internal FKM sealing ring. Replace the ring if it shows cracking, deformation or loss of elasticity.
4. Pressure relief before disconnection: Always relieve system water pressure before disconnecting to avoid water spray or injury.
