Equal Diameter Tee

Yuanlun equal-diameter tee belongs to sliding fastener series PEX pipe fitting. All three connecting ports adopt identical nominal diameter. It is T-shaped three-way component for pipeline fluid diversion and confluence. Realize splitting one main-line medium into two branch-lines or merging two branch-line media into one main pipeline. Consistent bore-diameter for three ports minimizes pressure loss and guarantees balanced flow distribution.

Adopt high-strength brass as main body material, slide-tight crimp connection structure, PN16 nominal pressure-rating, working-temperature 5℃-90℃. It requires matched dedicated slide-tension pliers for pipe-end flaring and crimping installation. Widely-applied in residential plumbing, floor-heating, HVAC and light-industrial non-corrosive-liquid piping-systems.

Important note: Installation recommended to be completed by qualified plumbing technicians. Mandatory pipe-end two-pass flaring before assembly; mismatched tools or unqualified flaring will bring hidden leakage risk. Each port must use corresponding-size slide-tension ring.

• Operating Principle

1. Perform standardized two-pass flaring treatment for each PEX pipe end connected to three ports of tee; rotate pipe slightly in second flaring pass for uniform flared mouth.
2. Pre-install slide-tension ring onto each pipe end, insert flared pipe fully into tee corresponding port until internal stop shoulder.
3. Operate matched dedicated slide-tension pliers to push slide-tension ring to designated final position for every port in sequence.
4. Radial compression force from slide-tension ring cooperates with pipe-material memory rebound effect, forming friction-lock and self-adaptive sealing on three joints. Complete pipeline diversion or confluence function with balanced flow and low pressure-loss.
5. Operating reminder: Three ports are identical-dimension, but each port needs independent flaring and crimp-operation. Skipping flaring procedure will directly cause sealing-failure.

• Pre-Installation Check

1. Confirm tee DN-size matches outer-diameter of PEX pipes for three ports; prepare matched flaring-tool and slide-tension pliers.
2. Inspect tee body and slide-tension rings; reject cracked, deformed or damaged components.
3. Square-cut all three pipe-ends, fully remove burrs and sharp edges; burr will scratch pipe and affect flaring quality.

• Installation Steps

1. Put slide-tension ring onto each pipe-end in advance. Execute mandatory two-pass flaring for every pipe end; slightly rotate pipe on second-pass to get uniform flared mouth.
2. Insert each flared pipe fully into corresponding tee port and reach inner stop shoulder.
3. Use matched slide-tension pliers, push slide-tension ring of each port one-by-one to final designated position.
4. After finishing crimp-work for all three ports, slowly pressurize whole system and inspect every slide-tight joint for leakage.

• Important Installation Notes

1. Installation recommended for qualified plumbing technicians.
2. Every port must complete independent two-pass flaring; cannot omit flaring for any port.
3. Must use size-matched dedicated flaring-tool and slide-tension pliers; makeshift hand-tools are forbidden.
4. Crimp-deformed slide-tension ring cannot be reused after disassembly; install brand-new ring for reassembly.
